Where to find Depron in Malaysia?

Am looking for depron or other material with similar characteristics. Does anyone know where I can find such material around Kuala Lumpur and how much does it cost? Am looking for the material to try to build own 3D plane.

Hi Adrian,
you can get it in PJ state, same row with standard & carted bank, art shop. price about RM 5 very cheap, i had use depron to built my boieng 757, but crush due to wing fold.

That's a sweet looking plane! Wish I could have seen it fly before it broke into a few pieces As mentioned I have located the depron and I just started work on the latest easy project just this past weekend. I am building a Pitts Special 3D Electric Foamie. Plans are from 3dfoamy.com. I have so far pasted the tiled plans together.. that took me like an hour and a half at least (while watching TV) and the cutting out of the foam pieces took a couple of relaxing hours on Sunday. Gotta wait for Carbon Fibre rods & pieces now... know where to get those in KL (cheap?). Else I will wait till next weekend for my friend to pick some up from Spore.

if you looking for cheap carbon fibre rod, can look for myrcstore johnny, if he has. normally his price is cheaper than sg, but always no stock, pls call his HP 0122892017 n ask first before you go.  hope to see your Pitt Special soon. I still thinking want to built another airliner or not, still planning.

  yes, their have sign up 10 from me, but i dont have time to built! .... my next project will be airbus A320, soon.....

Managed to get my carbon rods. picked up by my friend in Spore. Cost me a whopping RM100.00 for a some carbon rods of different sizes plus a plank of plywood. Expensive man!

Anyway would be glad to see your A320 soon! Or why not go for a A380. Keep up with the times 

Will be building my foamie slowly. This weekend was a lazy one...  :'(

The address on the receipt is:
138, Jln. BUkit BIntang, 55100 KL
Tel: 2425248, 2429380 (must be old since its only 7 digits)

But the shop I went to is in PJ State. and a shop or two away from the Standard Chartered Bank. The address of the BANK as per their website is:

30-36 Jalan 52/4,  46200 Petaling Jaya,  Selangor Darul Ehsan

So u might want to go there instead and look around. Good Luck!

They only have 5mm depron boards there. How nice it would be if they have thinner pieces like 3mm or so.

today i sampai KL on my way to eastin hotel pj i singgah at penline art taman melawati to buy depron foam but the tokei donno and he show me the regular foam like sale at kedai buku  :'( then i round2 at tmn melawati and find Hi-scan wholesale and buy some balsa wood  4 x 100 x 1000mm = RM 13.50. And there are foam board but i donno which one the depron foam (tanye org kedai also donno) i jumpe compress foam and lain2 foam. can anyone tell me what the depron foam call here?? or name when you buy it? or please post some picture? sorry im new in this bidang

oh haha they don't call it DEPRON there. I think they just call it FOAM BOARDS. Tell them it is white in color and about 2' x 3' in measurement . It costs RM5.00. They used to store it right at the back of the shop. If you tell them all this then they should know what you're talking about. First time I asked them also they didn't know what DEPRON was. it was really hard for me to find depron in kl as i dont know how to speak malay and most of the shops i visited they can not really understand what am talkin about so i depended on my eyes lol
any way you already solved my first matter
but the second matter is to glue the depron
you know that you have to use a very specific glue because normal glue will melt the depron down
i have been adviced to use "UHU POR" but the problem is where to find it or where to find a similar product to glue the depron
please help me guys i wanna start coz long time i didnt practice but this matter holding me from starting building
