RCV engine technology
« on: August 28, 2008, 12:47:26 PM »
Just sharing some information.

For those who love 4 stroke can take a look into RCV engines.

Some of facts that I know off and used.

1. RCV brand is from UK and they have started a new technology of 4 stroke glow engines that has require low maintenance.

2. RCV engines can turn large propellers due to the 2:1 gear ratio.

For further information you can check out at www.rcvengines.com

Changing the bearing and installing back the engines is very-very simple compare to Saito or OS.  All you need just use two pieces of tooth pick or cocktail sticks.

Regards.

How is RVC compared to OS or Saito? For me, I think I'll go with the tested manufacturers as compared to a new party. Then again, perhaps they have been around for ages now? Not sure.

What's the difference in terms of pricing between these manufacturers? Checked out the pricing for the RVC... they don't seem to be too exp. Haven't had time to compare against OS though.

Even though I'm into electrics... it's nice to fire up a nitro every now and then.. whatmore a classical four stroker.
The ground seems to come up a bit too fast!
