Thunder Tiger Mini Titan E325
« on: March 27, 2007, 11:26:41 PM »
Has anyone tried the new Thunder Tiger E325 Mini Titan chopper? How is it compared to the T-Rex? The entry cost for this chopper seems pretty reasonable at RM800ish so I might decide to buy this chopper rather than the t-rex.. however having said that... if you've got any experience regarding this chopper which you think I should know about, I'd appreciate if you could let me know here! Thanks a bunch!

I'm still flying my faithful Zap 400 and its a mighty fine chopper... especially with the carbon blades I installed. Worth every single cent!

I finally bought my Mini Titan on Sunday and by the end of yesterday which is Sunday Night ;) I managed to fix up the entire body and structure of the helicopter. The manual is very easy to follow and I would recommend anyone who buys this heli to buy the kit instead of the ARTF. The kit would be more fun plus the building experience will help you understand about the helicopter and how everything goes together... thus making repairs easier as well.

I've got to fix in the servos (hitech 65) onto the servo trays but they seem a little small so I guess I'll have to shave the trays a little to get the needed space to fit in the servos. After that it's probably onto the ESC and mounting of all electronics...

Will try to post a picture of the Heli here when I have a chance.

Finally got pictures of my Mini Titan taken last weekend during flight. It flies like a dream and its definately more stable than my previous zap 400. Flying on Idle-Up was a joy. Am on governor mode. Lots of umph and stable chopper. Pictures available at http://www.ourplaypen.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=1&pos=1

Can't wait to get my next flight on the titan. Cool chopper. No regrets buying it.
