One of my friend had the truck but he sold it. He had the first version of the HPI Savage and I think he got irritated with the fact that the tank didn't have an "inverted feeder" (?) so everytime he rolls the truck over, if he doesn't run there fast enough to flip it back.. the engine cuts off. Plus the engine ain't the easier thing to start... esp if you're not using a rotorstart. But the beast sounds good. Actually anything on NITRO sounds good!

How much is the Savage these days ? 2500+ ?
The ground seems to come up a bit too fast!

What an inverted feeder does is suck the petrol in using the vacumm in the exhaust. What this results in is reliable petrol feeding even when the car is upside down or flipping over. Which i guess is neccessary for a nitro truck...

And i think that a savage now goes for about 2300++ now...Don know if it includes the engine and controller though...

They are out there, I think the number of shops selling them prove they exist, but they just don't post too much here. We're not doing a good enough job promoting this site to the local gang.
