Xtreme production Lama V3
« on: August 10, 2007, 03:20:30 PM »

Guys, happen to see this Xtreme kit for Lama, and was really captured by its look. I don't owe a Lama V3, but have a FP2, so i was wondering if its possible to buy all the Xtreme parts including the motor and batteries but use my FP2 electronics? Is there someone out there as crazy as me? keke... i m studying on what items i shd get such as flybar, mainframe, etc. but wasn't sure. so if there is anyone out there with V3, it would be cool. i have downloaded a copy of V3 exploded parts, but some items listed.

anyone knows the part number for item 008, 009, 010, 014, 021?

i have worked out what i need to built a Xtreme Lama using my FP2 electronics, and here's wat i will need. (if i miss out something, some1 pls let me know.)

screws, dunno what sizes they are.

what is this for?

where do we fit this thing?

definitely cheaper if buy from bearing shops

Here comes the Xtreme

where does this fit to? anyone know the esky part no for this?

done. i would assume the above would be complete kit. hmm, did i left out anything?

thinking of might as well get full options. keke. last 2 items here :

What kind of parts do you need to buy? If you're buying a lot of parts then I would imagine it might be cheaper to just buy the entire kit itself? That's normally true of other helis out there. However I think the electronics actually come with your kit and that might be a waste indeed. Best to do a total cost calculation to see which option is cheaper before proceeding. Sometimes its worth it to buy entire kit even thought slightly more expensive but you have lots of other parts left over that you can use.

p.s The heli does look lean and mean! Nice design.
The ground seems to come up a bit too fast!
