Hi guys...I have almost zero experience in flying the RC heli. So could anyone recommend me which RC Heli is best suite me? Where to buy it? My budget is inclusive the remote controller. ::)

It really depends on what you expect the helicopter to do? Fast flights or merely hovering around? Of couse the easier the heli is to fly, the slower the "responses". I would recommend the XRB Lama type of helicopter (twin counter rotating rotors) since those choppers are very stable but they don't be able to do fast forward flights & any stunts. I believe you can by that chopper to learn on and it costs approx RM500 or so.

Plus I would recommend to invest in a simulator. Nothing beats learning on the simulator.... which pays for itself since crashes on it costs nothing to you. Just press a button and away you go again. No downtime and no repair costs.

Let's see. For RM1,700 what can you get?

1. Start with the simulator controller. If you're cheap then get the E-Sky one, and use with FMS, which is freely downloadable. RM100.
2. Then get a Lama style contra-rotating rotor type. This kind is so stable, it can hover on it's own. RM450 (Total now RM550). This price includes 4-channel controller, battery, battery charger.
3. Later on, when very dasyat oredi, get an E-Sky Honey Bee King or some such. Anybody know how much this costs? But if I remember right, it is < RM1,000 including controller, battery and charger.

So after this whole progression... still within budget if you go electric. If you go Nitro it will cost more because nitro helis are bigger, more costly (last time I looked anyway), plus you need more ground support gear other than just battery charger. Any more questions, just ask.
