Hi Adrian, ofcause 4S is much better, you can check with GWS website, then u know why....  http://www.gws.com.tw/chinese/product/powersystem/edf64.htm  pls scroll down to see the data, on 3s, you only draw 10amp each motor, and only produce 300grams of thrust, but if you put 4S it only draw 16amp, but your got 500grams thrust, so it about 40% more push for your baby, but ofcause it won't be fast like hell, but atleast you got confidence to fly it, as you got more power, right?

But for the ESC case, i have no idea, don't thing if only connect to 1 esc it will run2 motor, unless something wrong..... ???

if you looking for cheap and good quality battery, look for loong Max, you can buy 2S 2250mah X2 so to make it 4S. now i change all my batt to this... :D and it still work great!

Hi Kelvin. Thanks for the technical info. I think I'm going to go for 4s to see the extra push and yes definitely will give more confidence coz the flight the other day seems to be just above stall speed haha.

As for the ESC... the wiring was correctly done as far as I know

Basically there are two ESC. Both ESC's servo leads are connected to a single receiver via a Y-lead. The 3 wires of each ESC are connected to its respective brushless motor. The two wires of each ESC is then connected to a single batter via another Y-Lead.

Isn't that how its supposed to be wired? Why then does the "other" motor still run when the Y-POWER lead is disconnected from the the ESC ? Basically I just have to connect the battery to 1 ESC's power cables and both of them seem to run. The only connection there is between both ESC is the Y-SERVO lead... Surely that can't be right? and Surely the servo lead can't handle the amp draw?

I'm so confused  ???
The ground seems to come up a bit too fast!

Hi adrian, one more thing i need to know, do you take out one of your servo lead cable( red cable +)you can't give the receiver 2 voltage supply, because normally if you do so, the receiver will be crazy( maybe lost control), so pls chaeck that u have take out one of your ESC servo lead only the red cable will do, think this will solve your problem. it is very complicated, maybe will tell u what wrong when i meet u next time. ;)

ofcause the servo lead can handle surge kind of amp, because it just draw 10amp only right? but ofcause not for long.....
