Kelvin, Happy Chinese New Year to you too! Glad to hear you've successfully maidened your A318. Looks lovely! Can't wait to see it in action once you've fully fine tuned the aircraft. Get that nose gear repaired asap! ;) Going to paint this baby ?

dude... your building skills are superb! I love the way how the ducted fan looks like. I assume you scratch built the ducts & etc? from a drink bottle? let's have a look at how the finished plane (the small one) looks like. Any new pictures?

What batteries do you have in the small plane and what batteries are you going to have in your new bigger one? I am going to use 3s1p on my F15, which uses twin EDF 64 ... so I guess that's smaller than your 75s.

ps. Make an AirAsia mock up and sell it to them :) They might buy it for promos & etc... ask them for sponsorship hahah. And give me some commission since I suggested it ok...

Catch up with you soon k.

thanks adrian, i'm also learning form others, will post some pic and video soon
as the video with my friend... ;) the small one fly like real airliner slow and steady... look real ;)

for my small A318, i use only 800mAh 3S1P battery, actually this plane can use the 1000mAh, and for the big A318, i will use 2600mah 3S2P( 1300mAh 3S1P X2) and for your F15, better use big capacity, at least 2200mAh . but the battery will get hot as the stock motor consume of 22amp per motor, that mean is about 44amp...

P/S: yes, both ducted fan drink bottle is 100plus ;D

One thing I'd like to know is how did you make the front of your ducted fan unit? It looks almost too perfect.. the circle, the thickness and all! When you say the small one flew scale like speed.. that means its really slow? Like about to fall out of the sky? That's how real jet liners look... about to stall like that. hahah.

hmm I got 1800 and also 2180 batteries... so ya.. I'll probably try and use those. I hope I don't burn the batteries. I heard it can sustain without problems. I hope mine flies much much faster than scale speed though :)

Wow, that really looks excellent. But you didn't have any photos of your maiden? :D

Re: Selling to AirAsia - maybe instead you can try to get sponsorship from them for your airbus. Get you to appear at all sorts of promos. They do that in Europe and US, but I am not sure if there are any big enough events here to do that.
